Boost Your Mental Health with Experiential Diversity!

Feeling stuck? Bored? Lonely? Like you’re the star in the movie Groundhog Day?

A simple way to boost your mental mood is to try something new! According to Psychology Today*, “research shows that experiential diversity- going to new (or at least different) places can improve well-being.” In a recent study, researchers tracked participants movements with GPS, finding that the higher a participants geolocation score, the greater positive affect, suggesting that “novelty exposure is associated with well-being” and it creates a positive feedback loop, leading to more novelty seeking and enjoyment!

So, get out there and try something new! How about a new vacation spot? Eat at a new restaurant? Shop at a new store? Walk a new path? Try a new hobby?

If you are struggling to get out and try new things, Coriander Living Collective is here to support you. Just reach out!
