About five years ago, we were finding our way through the uncertainty, fear, stress, and grief of the Covid-19 Pandemic and The Black Lives Matter Movement with protests, riots, and social unrest. Fast forward five years from Spring 2020 to today, I am hearing from many clients and connections that they are once again feeling heightened levels of uncertainty, fear, stress, and grief due to the political and social climate in the United States. During unwelcome and trying times, how do you remain steady in the face of adversity and hardship?

Many of us spend our days rushing from one task to the next, not aware of what’s happening in our bodies. We function on autopilot. That is taxing on our nervous systems. Here’s a technique that can be done in literally a few seconds: THE PAUSE!
