Sign up for Open Floor 101! During this 3-week series, you will be introduced through instruction and experiential exercises to the mindful movement, conscious dance practice of Open Floor International. “Open Floor International teaches dance and mindful movement for personal healing, professional growth, and community building.”

We will begin each session by arriving well, opening awareness, using meditation and movement exercises to explore a Core Movement Resource theme, settling, and closing well with sharing. Music supports our practice. Open Floor practice is for everybody. Weekly themes:

·      6/30/22: GROUND: Connect to what’s below you and in you. Build safety. Sense support.

·      7/7/22: ACTIVATE & SETTLE: Build energy, move, and act. Calm and regulate your nervous system.

·      7/14/22: SPATIAL AWARENESS: Touch the distance around and between, inside yourself and outside yourself. Where have you been, where are you now, and where are you going?
