INTRODUCING! Stephanie Larson, MSW, LICSW MN, LCSW WI

I am thrilled to welcome psychotherapist and clinical social worker, Stephanie Larson, MSW, LICSW MN, LCSW WI to Coriander Living Collective! Adding Stephanie increases Coriander Living Collective’s ability to serve therapy clients in Minnesota and Wisconsin!

Stephanie and I have known each other since childhood. We grew up in the same small town and our fathers served together in the Wisconsin National Guard. We have memories of playing together on tanks and drinking bottled sodas at the Armory while our dads worked. Fast forward to a few years ago, we shared a mutual client, and re-connected. Look at where we are now!

Stephanie received her Master of Clinical Social Work from the University of St. Thomas and her BS in Business Administration with a Dance Education Minor from UW-River Falls. She has an eclectic work background spanning retail and organization management, dance education and choreography, health care finance, hospice and home health, volunteer coordination, medical social work, caregiver support, outpatient group and individual psychotherapy.

She uses a relational, psychodynamic, and strengths-based approach drawing from the person-centered, humanistic Rogerian Theory, holistic Adlerian Theory, and integrative techniques. Stephanie works with individual clients ages 14-99+ in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

She has special interests in supporting clients in processing trauma, supporting older adults, and caregivers. She currently serves on the Aging Services Professional Advisory Committee at Northwood Technical College, is a member of the Minnesota Gerontological Society, and an active alumnus with the University of St. Thomas Aging Scholars program. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR).

She believes “that with humility, vulnerability, support, and motivation for self-exploration and growth, you can live your best life! I will meet you where you are at, hold you accountable, and cheer you on each step of the way.”

Stephanie has immediate openings for new clients. Please contact her directly to inquire or to explore if you might be a good fit.
