Life is constantly happening in and around us. As one of my great teachers, Kathy Altman says, “Whether disastered or delighted” we can get knocked off our center. Our center is our internal point of balance, where we feel steady, present, and clear minded. Its common people sense their center in their midline or abdomen. When we act from our center, we can resolve conflict, be resourced, and stay calm.

According to Open Floor International, signs finding your center might be a growth edge for you include:

·      Feeling clumsy, unstable

·      Getting easily overwhelmed, doubts self

·      Confused, lacks focus, short attention span

·      Feels hollow, lacks meaning or purpose

·      Needy and not accountable in relationships

Come play with finding your center at Open Floor Dance 101 & Moving Meditation on Sunday, November 6th, 2022!
