Coriander Living Collective Now Offering Clinical Supervision!

Clinical psychotherapy and counseling are complex practices that require years of education and practice to insure the delivery of efficacious interventions. Mental health professionals are asked to work within the realm of anything within the human experience, and that is a lot to learn and know. Therapists work with high-level autonomy and uncertain conditions (Bernard & Goodyear, 2014). School alone does not prepare new therapists to enter the field of psychotherapy and counseling.

The field has a unique pedagogy of clinical supervision where a clinical supervisor works in consultative, educational, therapeutic, and evaluative roles to support clinical supervisees and usher them into the field (Bernard & Goodyear, 2014). The supervision intervention is evaluative and hierarchical, extends over time, enhances the professional functioning of the supervisee, monitors the quality of care provided to clients, and gatekeeps the discipline (Bernard & Goodyear, 2014).

Cori Hildebrandt, MA, LPC WI, LPCC MN is excited to join the field as a clinical supervisor who can supervise LPC and LPCC applicants in MN. She also is qualified to provide supervision in WI. She respectfully accepts the honor and responsibility of contributing to the health and safety of clinical practice and shepherding in the next generation of therapists.

If you are interested in clinical supervision, please contact Coriander Living Collective to discuss the possibility.
